bensgod
hi, my dad has recently bought a fox and hes just bought another key from VW and it was uncoded, is there any way of coding it to work with the immobilizer? The key is solid and cant be slit. Thanks
99hjhm
Other than getting the dealers to do it, a vehicle locksmith might be your best bet, phone a few and see what they say.
AwesomeAl
Dealer only to code the car to accept your new Key.Remote coding for unlocking purposes can be done quite easily as a DIY thing.

FLO7LXJ
Main dealer only. I had to leave both my keys with them as I had a problem with my boot lock. You could always try to make VW think the new key is one of the origonal ones on the blink, get them to coad it for free.If not I thinks its £££ for them to do it for you.
