See how you get on with a Punto. Good cars, but they do have a habit of nailing head gaskets. I wish I'd spotted that MK3 Golf. I quite like MK3 golfs. Admittedly, not the nicest colour though.

yeah a lot of people have mentioned this but to be honest im quite anal about looking after my cars so if i treat it right it shouldnt play up too much. Its been very well looked after and the previous owner is family and had it for over 10 years, done less than 1k per year in the last 5/6 years. its low mileage too so it should last me as long as i need it too. if i keep it to 70k miles and sell it i wont lose anything so its a good car really. :)

its too slow to drive fast too so im happy driving like an old fart in it. :roflmao: you can call me Ray from now on! :bleh:

I had an X reg Punto from new. Really liked it actually.

Needed a new steering column, which I got under warranty and then he ECU failed. Got a new original from eBay. 10 min's to fit nd 5 to auto tune.

That was after a garage changed both coilpacks though. Never went back there again.

Sold it after I got the GTI in 2007.

Yeah I miss it. Not going to lie lol. Erm... Well the golf hasn't moved since the inside was painted. Getting fed up of it. Should have kept the Lupo and put the 20v in that
