Managed to put myself 2nd in class on the grid in qualifying, but got a tap up the rear on the 3rd lap of the race which unfortunately ended my race.Video of it, doesn't really show exactly what happened but you get an idea! Hopefully that'll be it.I picked up a GTi bonnet a few weeks back so decided I should pull my finger out and fit it.Lightened it a bit...Gave it a good rub downAfter the first coatI gave it another light coat after that as there was still a bit of blue showing through, and then stuck my number on (I'm crap with stickers!!) They first told them I had plastic doors...and the scrutineers put a magnet to my doors, but I have GTi aly doors so the magnet didn't stick anyway lol. They're trying to make out they weren't standard fit etc. Only way they'd have this info is following one of my build threads.
