dxg
Well, it's getting closer. What I can't work out is: We were told first that it would be rear engined on an all-new platform. Then we were told they were shifting to the Polo platform to save costs. So, if it's just a re-hashed Polo, why the ventilation slots above the rear number plate? Equally puzzling is what looks to be an air-con condensate drain hanging down at the front which implies front engined. Unless this is the electric version, where the air-con (in an electric car?!?!) could be running off its own motor in the front with the drive motor in the rear (they do get very hot, which would explain the vents).Another thing that makes me think it's on its own platform is the wheels only having four bolts...But the stub axles on the rear wheels pretty much means front wheel drive (to me, anyway)...Who knows.
