The VTS/106 is faster, lighter and corners better. yes you may 'beat everything on the road' but there are much more variables than the car - what risks the driver is willing to make etc.

And when you say road, i assume you mean track?

I Had a quarter mileish type run with my mate in his saxo vts,

His had raceland mani, and catback exhaust

Mine had a BMC pannel filter on

We both set off at the same time, and in the end i was slightly ahead.

But this means nothing, its all depends on the driver, gear changes etc etc.

End of the day its down to you, vw dubs are better built, and i know my mate has had loads of problems with his vts, where as mine aint missed a beat.

But as mentioned parts are cheap for the saxo/gtis and theres plenty of them, but to me that says, this is because loads have been scrapped, crashed and there built cheap etc

Its quite hard to find second hand parts for the gti i think! But this is by far the best car i've owned along with my Yaris T sport :)
