Ive not hit any bump yet with the Eibach springs on.

Well not with the odywork anyway.

the Loop/Arosa defenatlly needs at least a 45mm drop though.

30mm doesnt even look lowered.

This is true.

It was the day after fitting mine, that someone told me the car was leaning.

I didnt belive him, so went and had a look.

You could only just see it, turned out Id fitted the standard spring back on one strut.

I was lucky to have someone notice, as said, -30mm drop is not very low!

surely you could get a mate to help fit the coilovers then just take it to a garage to get the camber & alignment sorted? that should help keep the cost down a bit.

if u fit coilovers does anyone know exactly what will happen with the vw warranty, is it just related problems / faults? (seat were really cool, they just said if i get any problems stick it back to standard, they wont ask any 'difficult' questions and sort it under warranty - which they did a few times)

None of my mates know what they're doing, either! laugh.gif style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />

You're right regarding the warranty - you'll be covered unless they can show it's related. Whether they will be willing to turn a blind eye if it turns up one day in standard form with a problem that could have been caused by the suspension is on a dealer by dealer basis.

right found a set of FK automotive Highsport coilovers fully ajustable , front `20-70mm` drop and the rear `30-50mm` drop ( sounds like the wrong way round ) for £540 the challenge will be saving being a student and i work and have the car loan to pay , so like many it may take a while

I spoke to WV ok when ever I did anything to the car, to see how it will affect your warrenty before desideing.

When I fitted my exhaust, it was VWuk that told me the only thing that would only be affected was my exhaust mounts.

Im pretty sure it was something similer with the susspention.

But I cant remember for sure. My memory isnt what it used to be lol

Heres the number.

0800 711 811

mate there is a company who are wanting to be a big supplier for Lupo parts, who are selling 2 way ajustable FKs (I think, but Im sure another member can confirm that for me?) under £500. I think they may have been around £400 but that may have been for the fixrd rate damper, ajustable height models.

If it wasnt FK I think it could have been MK I always get them both mixed up.

Just a quick word. I fitted Fk Coilovers. And would recommend these over springs any day. But Had a problem with camber on the front left side. I had the wheel alignment done and they said you can't adjust the camber anymore. I had 2.5 degrees on one wheel and 1.3 degrees on the other. I was bugging me so i removed the offending strut and compared it with the other side. I found that the elongated holes were not the same, so i had to enlarge them with a drill and a file to get the cambers equal. I then went back to the alignment place and they set it up again for free. Ive now got about 1 degree both sides. So dont trust that cos you just bought some german engineered kit, it will be right. And also the bloke at the alignment place said it was cos i had lowered it too much. Not the case!

so how low u sitting then , and is that a miss type then saying that the front is -20mm to -70mm and the rear -30mm to -50mm cause surly u could lower the rear more than the front .
