The styling just seems a lot less fussy to me, and that's what I like.Been busy the last few days, have blackened the insides of the tail lights and headlights, blackened the filler cab and fitted polished stainless bolts, painted the front V black and a few other bits and bobs. What a lovely day to get it back together and out of the garage! Shame I only got to drive it to get serviced. Looking forward to picking it back up this afternoon. Pictures soon. Only picture I have of it standard and standing still!On the way home from Wemyss Bay, near Inverkip.Engine bay with black oil cap and expansion tank lid, and polished badge thingy. Got a spare rocker cover to paint up.Interior. Note missing heater knob on the passenger seat.Black filler cap with polished bolts.Split standard headlight.Standard tail light, mmmmm, misty.Blackened headlight.Blackened tail light.Lupo and VX. One of the headlights is broken inside, some bugger's tried to adjust it too much and snapped the bolts, so I need to find a new drivers side headlight. They're more expensive than Lupo GTI headlights too! Gonna paint the wheels and the screen surround black and paint the calipers red as somebody's made an arse of them too.
