jon_273
About a year ago I found water under the carpet in the passenger footwell, which resulted in a strip out of the interior to let the sound insulation dry out as it was dripping wet. I've been having problems with condensation in the car recently so I checked under the carpet again for damp and its soaking wet again:I was wondering where the water could be coming from as I've already checked out the pollen filter, windscreen and bottom of the door for water ingress. Noticed this black plug thing was not sitting right, ended up pulling it out and I found a hole full of water/ice! Now surely thats not normal!Anyone know what this hole is for or why it's full of water? Edited February 8, 2009 by jon_273

jon_273
Yeah I am a bit worried its going to rot from the inside out!I managed to siphon most of the water out, but it's just going to keep filling up again until I find out how its getting in. Looks like I'll have to jack the car up and have a poke around
