Kumho / Nexen tyres

if you want cheap tyres buy some nankangs, they are properly cheap and a lot of people swear by them... some also swear that they are ditch finders but i think that depends on how good a driver you are!!

Nankangs are okay in the dry but in the wet they're awful. I used to have them on the Lupo and they weren't good.

Toyo R888s or MickeyT drag radials for me next!

Tyres are pretty important, I wouldn't put crap ones anywhere near my motor.

Its like value loo roll its a false economy you use it twice as quickly and for the small fee extra why not have some comfort. Cheap tyres will often wear faster and might not be there when you need them most, probably cost an extra 50 squid on top of the cheapies for something decent. :shades:

I just fitted 4 Nexen's yesterday, £35 a corner, decent enough tyre, only done 100 miles with them so far but so far so good. Can't grumble at the price.

How are they in the wet, i dont really drive hard but i dont want ma car sliding all over the place :).

I put Kumho KH11's on my Volvo and they are great

205/50/16 W 4 fitted for £210

Good wear and great direction stability, it made the steering realy positive.
