electricpanda
Cheers, well ive just been back out to look and they all have a similar silver core (obviously being lights) but didn't know if painting them would make as much difference as there so much smaller. Aswell are they all sealed with that prc stuff? Thanks

electricpanda
When I first asked this question I already had one headlight out. The other one doesnt seem to wanna come out. Do I have to take the front grille bit off? Was the other one not bolted in correctly?? HELLLLPPPPP
Tigz™
The grill and front panel has to come off to get to the bolt under the headlamp.

heartagram
Indicators can be done with the heat gun technique but you just need to be careful that you don't over do it and melt the whole thing. There small so theres not much place for the heat to go and they can melt easily.

timboc
do people usually use gloss or matt black?
electricpanda
I used gloss, even contemplated giving it a clear coat but couldnt be bothered. I think gloss will look better imo
heartagram
I use matte usually. You could give them a go in the oven but I prefer a heatgun as you can prise it with the heat on it and see if its ready to go or not. Where as the oven if its not hot enough to pull apart or you need to add more heat as you prise it then you can. Heat guns are only about a tenner from Machine Mart. Might as well get one, there handy to have.
Scottish_Sport_16V
I did my indicators with a heat gun but i fked mine up lol! Its my fogs pictured on the other page and they where easy to do just take them apart carefully. And they look spot on! unlike the indicators lol! Hey Kam you got your new lights in yet? lol
heartagram
I might start selling tinted indicators cause everyone else seems to **** them up I'm still waiting for my useless mate to wire them in
