Nicki
Nothing much is going to get rid of it any quicker tbh... if you'd applied ice to it straight after the fall, that would've reduced the size of the bruise.Makeup is my only suggestion... lots & lots of concealer. VinnyGTI
Its really going to sound daft, but....Toothpaste - leave it on for a bit and then wipe it off. Works for me when i get huge bruises. Vinny Edited September 14, 2008 by VinnyGTI
LoopyLing
I have heard of the toothpaste trick - no idea how it works though. Plenty of iron, zinc & Vit C helps your immune system which is responsible for tissue repair - best sources are red meat, green veg, tomatos, red peppers... scotty_82
there are a few ways to help, ice works well as a bruise is basically ruptured small blood vessels, the ice will tightned these up limiting the flow and how much can escape.im sure witch hazle helps draw out the bruise too, my personal favorite is cryogel, eases any pain too from it.Bruises, bumps, soreness, knocks and cauliflower ears are like my specialty, i have enough daily lol Yep you can get pre mixed vit C nd iron tablets from most supermarkets too

LoopyLing
Fact, chicks dig scarsNope. Oh yeh, if you're going down the Vit C and Iron supplements route, only take the recommended dosage. Vit C poisoning is not nice and too much iron makes you poo. Lots. Amber
I love bio oil! works really well for me, but not sure it'd work on a bruiseI'd go for the toothpaste one - that's worked for me before.

lunalupi
Arnica - cream on the bruise, and a tablet too.It is supposed to speed up the process, so the bruise will get really bad, but then get better much quicker.
