cardaft
Isnt there that idea that featured on watchdog!Something to do with the feature that opens/closes the windows when you keep you key turned in the door lock. Your best calling a locksmith.
cj-sharpy
I think you should explain exactly how you locked your keys in your car before anyone on a public forum explains how to break in to your car.I'm not doubting you as I have done this before and watched the pro's get in to a more secure car than a lupo so I know how to do it and have got in to a few mates cars and my own in the past in the same way. But at the same time people post "I've locked my keys in my R8, how do I break in" posts all the time and you have to be sure. If you PM me i'll let you know how its done with absolutly no damage to the vehicle.
Boy'dup
i've locked my keys in cardafts car. how do i get in? any decent mechanic should be able to get in,did any hear about these lads who work in scrappys and play with the doors on the cars to find out how to break into them the quickest (ie if theres a drilling sweet spot etc) then go on the rob after theyve figured it out?... bloody chavs
cj-sharpy
I am not a pikey but I have to say breaking in to cars is fairly easy (break a window) Getting in without damage is not hard and if anyone has ever done an engine conversion then they should now ho to start a car with out keys. I could get in to nd start a mk2 in about 30 seconds through practice on my own (dodgy locks) and from having to open cars that are locked in the scrappys. I think the scrappys lock em and lose the keys on purpose so you have to break the window and they can charge you for that to.
Unheard
I am sure there is a way to hotwire the central locking or electric windows, if i could find the correct wire on the ecu i am sure i could get it to pop the doors or roll the window down. The central locking works on an earth system when it senses an earth on the correct wire it opens the lock if you hold that earth it will roll the windows down. i know where the wires go inside the car but cant trace them the other side lol i thought it may be handy to know how to get into my car if i ever needed to. I am always surprised that no one has realised when braking into cars taking the window out isa nice quick cleen way. the window repair guy had my window out in seconds one sweeping movement for the topone for each side and the window hinged and he cut the bottom acsess for even the fattest chav. HMMM may be i should keep my thoughts to myself BE WARNED I KEEP NINJA HAMSTERS IN MY CAR THEY ARE TRAINED TO GO FOR THE NUTS
Boy'dup
watch hollywood films... they make it easy...hmm this cars unlocked, and quite handily the back is off the ignition.. if i touch these two wire together twice during a zoom shot the car will start. in all seriousness if anyone knows anything its probably not the best idea to broadcast it openly as i said, any good mechanic should be able to get in and start the car no problem... trouble is finding a good mechanic nowadays

cj-sharpy
i've pm'd bigking.... saying if he provides proof the car is his i'll tell him how to get in. Like I said I locked the keys in my company car when I was down essex and the only spare was with my boss in durham. I rang green flag and they sent a guy out. The apprentice (I guess) took ages. When I said I thought they woud be quicker the old boy who also came showed me how to get in in seconds. And not a mark on the car so my boss never new. I tried the same method on my own car and a few mate fords, hondas and even a jeep and it works on all so far. However I really dont think its a good idea to broadcast "hey heres how to steal a lupo" on a lupo forum.p.s. does anyone want to know how to enter and start a mk2 vr6. If so my adress is 113 highstreet.........................
Boy'dup
did anyone ever see the 'Yale' rep cars? that you could break into with a bendy credit card... biiiiiiiig mistakethe worst thing has got to be mk1 landies with the deadbolts... mission and a halfive also seen a 05 plate merc with the keys locked inside. my old man got called out and got in without the alarm going off... how pathetic is that?!you'd expect something better from mercedes but obviously not on the lower spec'd ones
cj-sharpy
My dad was a copper back in the good old days. He always carried a length of that plastic strapping that they use to tie up pallets so he could open cars for people. Daft thing is he tried it a couple of years ago on a ex police t5 and could still get in. It took him about 15 seconds and he was disapointe cos he said he used to be able to get in much quicker. He reckoned a mk1 escort would have taken about 4 seconds so I dont reckon 15 seconds for a modern car aint to bad.Car security is crap. There is nothing to stop a determined car theif. Example - we opened a lock round my mates in 2 seconds with a screw driver. The girl I live with never locks her car cos she says that if they want to get in they might damage the lock, and the sight of an undamaged lock will still deter most opportunist theives
Boy'dup
cars are amusing. my mum had a really really old nissan sunny (it had done over 200k) at one point and the key and ignition were so worn you could start it with any key (within reason), she never locked the thing it was pointless to. its true, thieves can get anything they want nowadays, you see the news reports of young lads nicking brand new motors, ragging them and burning them.. shows how secure a car is when 2 uneducated 14 year olds can get into it.its a scary thought but its the society we live in(ive just noticed how when it gets late, over the last few months my last post has ended with some sort of blatently obvious remark made to sound more intelligent than it is... strange)
matt~black
i was quite impressed with the loop when i used to have my seicento it took about 10seconds to reach with a funny shapped coathanger and pull the boot release/coat hanger or we once pulled the back side window out with a dent puller however when the battery went dead on my loop turns out pulling the handles doesn't work when you've locked it boot lock mech is electric so that doesn't work and pushing the button to unlock the doors doesn't when the battery is dead dunno about when it's charged so the next plan getting into the bonnet behind the badge is a metal bar in the end i had to jack it up and pull the bonnet release to open it even that took alot of fiddling and that's with the keys

Nicki
I've locked this as I really don't think its a good idea to be advertising to members of the public how to break into our cars - especially as most of us have our locations on our profiles.
