+omsu+h Posted July 29, 2008 Report Share Posted July 29, 2008 Hey guys.. my arosa needs something to set it off a bit.. at the moment i have just got hub caps..but after looking at some of rides on the forum.. im realy liking silver steelys...how do i go about doing it...? do i removed my cup cap mask of the car and tired and spray?take of car.. mask tire and spray?take tire off and spray?or buy new steels and spray?or just buy silver hubs.?what is my best option?or should i just splash out on some deep dishs? or what i would love... Philplop Posted July 29, 2008 Report Share Posted July 29, 2008 If it's just a temporary mod until you get alloys I would leave the tyres on and paint them with a tin of hammerite, it'd be very hard wearing and cheap and quick to do. cardaft Posted July 29, 2008 Report Share Posted July 29, 2008 Yeah, just remove the wheels, mask up the tyres really well, give them a good rub down and clean then paint with primer and paint. heartagram Posted July 29, 2008 Report Share Posted July 29, 2008 If you get some hammerite smooth silver you can just brush it onto the car. Mask the tyre off if you want, or just be careful.
