Wow! Apart from the black 4motion one Bluloop posted I can't think of any other 1.9TDi's. Certainly looks a very tidy job, well done B)

What BHP is it running?

Sweet as a nut! :)

You can ignore my question but how much did this conversion cost you and how much work was undertaken by yourself/others?

I need this conversion!

Is that running on a stock ECU and using the original lupo clocks?

Yes the airfilter is a concern, going to make somthing and drill some holes in frontpanel or use a standard airbox and relocate the battery in the boot. Shopping around for larger turbo at the moment and yes a remap is a must!!!!

Cost......like i say is still in the 3 figures somwhere, I had a lot of parts in my stores!!!!!!

Need to tidy up the body slightly but no other plans at the moment

Very nice work indeed!

How did you deal with the engine mounts if you don't mind me asking? I'm assuming they weren't in the same place for the 1.9.

It looks very tidy - not often you see something like this spring up out of the blue!

Ive pinned this in the hope of some technical info!

Can you advise what changes were needed?

Things like wiring changes, ignition system and fueling?

Would be cool for any further attempts at this conversion.

I just used a golf mk4 ECU, Added a fuel cooler under the car and fitted a in tank pump

I used polo ATD engine mounts and made a platform on the leg for it to sit on . ATD polo gearbox mounts and modified the leg and the 6 speed box for the mounts to fit . The wiring only took a couple of hours to sort as this was a sdi
