I'm just messing.

I'm completely accident prone, and pulls/strains tend to be much better within a couple of days to a couple of weeks.

When the swelling settles you can get a better feel for the damage.

I'd suggest scorching hot bath for ages, then sit with an ice-pack on it, best way I've found of helping with these kind of injuries :)

i am the same though, if there is some way to injure yourself, i usually find it!!!

You might as well chop it off. At least then you'll get parking perks and free road tax!

Yep, could be months. Get to a physio for advice.

i feel for you! i did this 4 years ago, funnily enough it wasnt a football accident, i got tripped over at school and my foot got caught around a table and there it went, i can laugh about it now lol. thankfully it wasnt one of the worst cases, i wasnt walking properly for about 3 weeks, i didnt play football for another 7 months though :( i was 17 at the time as well and it cut out valuable driving lesson time! :reallymad:

medial ligaments can range from 2/3 weeks to about 2 months i think

can only rest but keep moving otherwise it will stiffen up

so gentle walking etc but no heavy exercise

spot on. could be looking at much longer and surgery if you've torn them though.

nar i was luckily enough to only have pulled them, painful non the less.

another girl skiing though tore her ones in her right knee and pulled the ones in her left

so i am kinda lucky in a way
