£20's a good price.. rolling the arches is just rolling the lips back in on themselves though ( so more for when the wheel fouls the arch lip)

you want your arches pulling so they cover the tops of the tire treads.

I wouldn't go getting arch work just yet though chap, coils + camber shims first and chances are they'll tuck in or at least look very tucked in

WHAT ARE CAMBER SHIMS ????

there are a lot of different variables

the expensive ones, Camber PLATES sit on top of the strut mounts

these then allow adjustment of the strut

the cheapo's Camber SHIMS are just angled peice of steel that sit on top of the strut mount.

these allow for no adjustment

Camber shims fit between the rear stub axel. They dont fit between the top mounts like the adjustment plates do.

If you want to dial in some front camber then this can be adjusted from the lower fixing points on the suspension leg.

If your paying so little attention that a wheel thats sticking out of the arch by about 10-20mm is enough to run you over you to fu-cking right deserve it. You should be watching where your going, not wondering into the side of cars.

Its a stupid law if you ask me.

I would take them off even if they are legal cause they look ridiculous at standard ride height. I actually LOL'd when I saw it.

You were told in the other thread, get coilovers. ;)

Do it. :D

Yeh it does look alot better lowered, more discrete, and sort of, asif it was factory made that way, instead of a wee monster truck.

  • 2 weeks later...

Mine stuck out more when it wasnt lowered!

With the fronts camber can be added when fitting coilovers by pulling the bottom on the wheel out then tightening the locating bolts (as they have a sliding slot on them)

I didnt get pulled after it being lowered.

deff way to go!!

ah righty, I am back.. From where I don't know..

Deffo looking at coilies now then, cheap and cheerful, and hopefully adjustable is what I am after. Coilies for 210, hit me up! I am ready for it LOL

Camber can be applied to the fronts, like that? Sounds easyish. I need anything else but the coils?

Also the rear camber, I am looking for shims, how much will that bring the tyre away fron the arch? If it doesnt do enough I will have to get custom arches made as I went to a local guy who could arch pull, but he was a complete **** about it, swearing unnecessarily, really uncomfortable, saying he wouldnt touch it for 800quid. I then laughed and said thanks, bye... Lol

you need some .. EZ shim they come in 1.5 deg each so stack 2 sets up on each rear wheel and get prepared for terrible turn in

and you can easily tuck the tops of your wheel right under if you run silly camber
