akbarirfan
Hi Guys n Gals,I have recently purchased an Alpine head unit..the power part of the loom has a red wire going to it and a blue wire (for the antenna). I have a yellow wire that needs to be connected to the positive charge, I have a feeling I will have to swap the red and yellow anyway, can anybody confirm this please? If that is the case will I have to connect the red wire to the positive? Or can I skip this part? Were is the best place to connect the ground wire to?If I swap the red wire and the yellow wire, do not connect the red wire to the battery, and ground the black wire, will it work like that? Thanks!! akbarirfan
Is there a hole from behind the headunit to get to the enigne bay? Thanks.
Tigz™
If you feed the cable down the side of the dash behind the headunit it will bring it out in the passenger footwell. The grommet in the o/s of the engine bay contains the main wiring loom.If you feed some cable through that, then tie your headunit cable to this, and then pull it through the bulkhead.
