Speaking from 7 years of experience:

- I never once had to reboot it because it had crashed.

- I never had anti virus software because there was no need for it.

- Never had any big compatibility issues.

- Software updates never did things you didn't want it to do without asking.

- Only needed to upgrade once in that 7 year period (went from iMac G3 to G4 Mac Mini)

- Never had to defragment, reinstall drivers, faf around with setting.

I miss my Mac. :(

I slipped in the snow and have dented my aluminium macbook :(

I bought a pretty tough satchel for it too, but now I have an odd shaped top left corner of the screen. Only got it in November and I'm gutted. It's not very noticeable but I'm fussy and it's pissing me off.

I would just like to add, TNT have now collected my iMac and I now have the tracking number, and confirmation it will be delivered tommorrow.

Exactly the date I was told as soon as I placed my order.

The finance was set up on the afternoon I ordered.

Barcley emailed the form to sign, it was faced back to them and Apple had the payment the following morning.

I have called Apple at least once a day, and every person was fantasic to deal with.

I have descided it would be wrong to complain, as for the first time in many years, I feel the Customer Service is perfect.

I can not wait till I finish work tommorrow and start it up for the first time.

I have been watching loads of YouTube clips of excited new owners starting the machine for the first time.

I'm undescided wether I should film it tommorrow LOL

I'm writings review.

But I have no interweb at home.

Waiting for BT to reactivate my line after out trial seperation these past couple of year.

Then I've got to wait for Sky to hook me up.

I'm really annoyed about that, they can't take my order until BT have connected me.

So I've got to wait twice.

Good news is I only live 500 metres from the exchange so speed should be good.

But can I just say.

What a machine, just find more and more cool things every day.

Love it.

Thats the thing.

My Dad has ben giving me stick every since I bought it, I took it down to his house the other day.

By the time I'd left even he was coming round!

Everyone loves it.

But as predicted by Andy, I do appear to be boring everyone to death

Its a bit like religion, most people put up with you and smile like your a bit special. Some people try them and are converted and then become boring also.

Added to my growing plethora of Mac-ness today with a new Mac Mini to create a big daddy home cinema.

Teamed up with a bluetooth keyboard and mouse, should be a pretty s****y setup once I get some time to hook it all up :)
