My rubber Petrol cap holder has died : ( - How long did yours last - GTi model

Its with deep regret my rubber cap holder deceased at 25k on the clock. Anyones lasted longer ???

Is there a holder to clip the cap on, don't let mine hang down on the rubber holder band as it would touch the paint so mine should last for the life of the car.

Nope, getting almost 40mpg without even trying. Still ahve to fill up twice a week though even getting `220-250miles` from a tank full.
