colin g
I've just (provisionally) bought a set of Ronal turbos for a 1.0e Lupo.It is standard right now, I intend keeping the standard dampers and fitting lowering springs only (-40mm)My question is this...if they are a 28 offset will they be of any use? would they rub?I will find out tomorow one way or another (37 or 28 offset) but it would be good to know beforehand. Thanks Colin. micky c
Best thing to do is whack em on and see if anything rubs.. And remember some wheels if not already off a vw/lupo may need shims to get the correct fitment to the hub..My Lupo Sport wheels are 42 offset and my new wheels are 35.. 38 didnt fit... Though they were going to send me 32 offset wheels..
scoobydoo
they will catch front. might get away with the rears but i doubt it. although if ur not goin that low that'll help. the offset is fine but ronal turbos r 7 inch wide which may b an issue. get the arches sorted and it'll b schweet. 40mm aint that low though. click the sig for my car when it was lowered 60mm...oh and standard offset is 38 or 42 (i think) on a gti.Glen Edited July 23, 2007 by scoobydoo
