micky c
Hi people,I've got a max of £300 to spend on lowering my Lupo.I can't afford coilovers like I wanted (unless somebody knows different)So I'm left with a spring and damper kit or just springs. What should I get? At the moment it's standard 1.4 16v E with 15" alloys & 195/50 R15 tyresI want it as low as possible without scrubbing..Thanx in advance style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shades:" border="0" alt="shades.gif" />

vworks41
H&R's are good, if ur on abit of a budget look at the FK kits aswell.
lupodave
With 195/50/15s scrubbing might be an issue when you go low.

micky c
Ok people, serious help needed! (Though I am beyond it)I'm purchasing some springs for my Lupo on Tuesday.. How low whould I go? 40mm or 60mm?I've got 15" alloys with 195/50 tyres border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> Edited July 23, 2007 by micky c
mattie
40mm springs are a waste of money - however if u get only 60mm springs with no uprated shocks the ride would be pish.Id say either get a 60mm sus kit with uprated shocks - or get some coilies. Iv got the ones Phil J was selling 300£
one litre wonder ;)
yeah philJ's are a shade under £300 i *think* and apparently there the exact same as FK highsports and thats what im running and its nearly on the floor
Silver!
PhilJ = £240 inc...40mm = not worth it.My Arosa is -45mm AVO and it's still got 'air', but it has a decent ride with the original shocks. 60mm would be better, but you'll have to be careful.R
micky c
Well that's a p!sser, I just forked out on some 60mm springs today... I'll have to save again for those coilovers, if only I was told sooner style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />
