Thanks John, I'm so please with it, credit to you and the boys.

Can not believe the finish, the reflections on the paintwork are completely smooth, if you see the reflection on the bricks here, look how straight the car is.

Every panel was damaged last time I saw the car!

Massive thanks, if you live in Newcastle, or in Scotland, give Millburn Garage in Stow a call.

If you want a top paint finish without being ripped off, I don't know of anyone better.

About 2 hours away :(

Don't worry mate, today I was worried about it.

But I'm sure we can get it running for Edition.

I'm using bolts off the Polo to mount things like headlamps, interior trim and other areas I lost the bolts for.

Gonna get the interior in (can worry about the dials at a later date) and may need the Emerald fine tuned a little to get it through MOT though... the pops and bags at any revs at the minute are ace, but I don't think an over fueling car goes down well with the emissions machine lol

Do you mind me asking how much you paid, you had inside and out right, bay included?

I'll let John answer that Mark.

He could pick up you know what from you know where I'm sure ;)

Bet he could fit you the thingybob too :D

Glad you like it. The colour has grown on me. It needs the sun to bring out the red and blue pearl in it

Yeah, its really subtle but looks fantastic when the sun is on it.

But the change in the look of the car when its dark is mint also!

Looks evil!

Progress at last eh stranger! Top work keep it up mate!

Paddy! :D

Can you make Edition this year with the family?

A little more progress.

Been trying to make sense of the wiring.

Tried my Lupo clocks in the Polo today.

The Lupo has a blue and a green connector.

The Polo has a single blue plug.

That must mean that the green is Canbus.

If it is Canbus in than I will need to fiddle.

If it is Canbus out to the ECU then it shouldn't be anything more complicated than leaving one plug out.

I hope my guess is right lol

Really need to start stripping the Polo though.

I never get the chance at work to do anything other than work really.

When I'm online i'm on hold.

And when you do the job I do, you spend a lot of time on hold, as suppliers never call back lol

Ard anything about you know what mark?

Ah fair enough Andi, my works like that sometimes, i have dealerships not calling me back, haha!

Unfortunatly he'll only take a cheque, so i've had that posted first class recorded, if he waits until the cheque clears (i imagine he will) it should be to you the week before Edition, which is a pain in the arse.

I'll PM him and let him know that it's urgent as he should have the cheque tomorrow.
