So lately I keep on looking at integrated engineerings rather tasty looking intake manifold. To say I'm tempted is an understatement! Thinking that there might have to be some modifications to the front slam panel to get it fitting as the standard manifold sits quite close!

Replaced the old centre badges on the wheels as some of them weren't looking the best...

I'd purchased these genuine caps quite a while ago now and have gone for good to tie in with the bolts..

Nice, much arch work needed?

Just rolled arch's tbh mate. They do catch a bit but I'm quite lucky as they are RM010's quite a rare fitment compared to a RM012 or similar as they are 6.5 inch barrels with a 0.5inch lip in standard form et40 opposed to a normal 6.0 inch barrel 0.5inch lip in like et33 giving me 0.5 inch more tuck effectively if you get me. That extra 0.5 inch certainly helps.

So I loose track a bit of where I get to with certain things and updating certain thread etc but I don't think I've posted to much in this one for a while. So the car is now running a new front bumper which I'm very happy with. I decided to go with a reiger option which gives a slight gti esque look to the front end i guess and gives a nice spot for the intercooler to sit! The bonnet and boot have been repainted although the bonnet has already managed to collect a lovely couple of stone chips!

I've replaced both front headlights as these were looking a little tired and have also changed the badgeless grill to a new item as this was looking a bit worse for ware! Had a few issues with the aquamist water injection system at the start of the year and this had to be sent back to them for some diagnostics which ended up in a new flow valve (i think it was).

Grabbed a couple of shots on the way home from ultimate dubs although I do appear to have lost the drivers side indicator at some point....

So I've decided to try and tidy a couple of little bits up lately. I ordered up a new rain tray as the other was looking a bit faded and marked in areas. The pollen filter access panel has been discontinued but luckily managed to pick up one off eBay in better condition than mine. Also got some new toed screws as again the old ones not looking to special...

And the finished result after cleaning on the rain tray areas that was filthy!

Also got real anal and tidied up the water injection cables that were a bit twisted and loose.

Finally managed to get my lupo gti rear spoiler sorted. I was stitched up good and proper when I bought it off Facebook, was described as being in perfect condition, when it arrived it was cracked and split on the underside the brake light was cracked and the mounting points on the reverse were shot! (See photos).

Evidently this ended up costing me much more than I'd like to have spent but maybe aesson to myself...!

Got it fitted and have to say I really love the look of it and I think it gives the car much more prescence at the rear and looks more'finished' for the look I wanted I think.
