tdwindustries
My car:Lupo GTI2 ownersX reg5 SpeedFSHSingle CD PlayerMoon Silver85,000 milesOne off Janspeed exhaust, BMC induction kit.New front tyres 5,000 miles ago. I initially went mad and said its up for £3,500 and soon revised it. I have even been offered £4,000 trade in by main dealer! I have said to Adam K its prob worth 4,200....Then today someone who isnt from the forum finally showed up and saw it where I work. He reckons its a bargain at 4,500!!Oh dear oh dear. So as far as I can see Adam saw it first, but how much is it really worth - Autocar magazine seem to think they dont go for under 5 grand!hmmmm
zippy
Well, it sounds like you agreed a price with Adam & he's been trying to sell his car since agreeing on it hasn't he?And the price seemed to be in the middle of the area you both looked at.I think, if it was gonna save the hassle & keep the car in the club with someone who'd look after it, then I'd forget about an extra couple of hundred quid... but thats just me. tdwindustries
Yeah dont misread this - the car will be sold to Adam (as long as he still wants it!) and I am more than happy with the price and the home its going to.Its more of a retorical question, Adam is aware other people wanted to look at it so dont worry! Crusoe
if you take into account that it's knackered and Tim's driven it into the ground then i'd take the first offer you get LOL

AndyW
Jesus, this is spanning two threads. style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />Congrats to both though, nice to hear the old girl is staying on the forum. His Sports sold too, but I forget if he said it was going to someone on here.
BigMon
It's easy for someone to say it's a bargain when they're not actually buying it. £4200 may be a little bit low, but I don't think it's vastly off the mark.
