Jon
By definition it means that the magnification ratio is 1:1 or higher. In reality, it means you can take photos of things really close to the camera. Well, usually at a range of 8 - 10cm. style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

Ardent
You must pull in radio stations from all over the world with that ariel.Sorry. The background often ends being more important to get right than the subject. Quick job in photoshop clone out the pole and wa-la nice shot.JBeing as the front? end of the catapillar is in focus you would seem to have ran out of depth of field.J Edited January 26, 2006 by Ardent

nfbr
Much better border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="IPB Image" />I think i might have a bit of a problem with the shutter button, as it doesnt have a positive click any more :S and has to be pressed quite hard for it to work... Putney
You shouldn't be using the button at night time with a long exposure, switch it to timmer and don't touch the camera! or get a remote shttuer release button.Looks better now style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shades:" border="0" alt="shades.gif" />
Tigz™
switch it to timmer and don't touch the camera! Another thing to try as Ive never been able to take a long shutter shot! lol
