have you any images where he is in focus? if so send me one ill re create it for you in photoshop!

This is what i end up doing for my day to day job being as they say a graphic monkey that is producing brochures and much like. You end up editing many photos to suit the style and look.

Out of 6 images, thats the only one where any part of the little blighter was in focus sad.gif style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" />

You'll probably still need to switch the Macro function on manually smile.gif style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

Umm... wish i knew what macro function did...

By definition it means that the magnification ratio is 1:1 or higher.

In reality, it means you can take photos of things really close to the camera. Well, usually at a range of 8 - 10cm.

You must pull in radio stations from all over the world with that ariel.

Sorry.

The background often ends being more important to get right than the subject. Quick job in photoshop clone out the pole and wa-la nice shot.

Being as the front? end of the catapillar is in focus you would seem to have ran out of depth of field.

I think i might have a bit of a problem with the shutter button, as it doesnt have a positive click any more :S and has to be pressed quite hard for it to work...

You shouldn't be using the button at night time with a long exposure, switch it to timmer and don't touch the camera! or get a remote shttuer release button.

Looks better now shades.gif style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shades:" border="0" alt="shades.gif" />

To set the timer to count down you have to press the shutter button...

I dont think a remote shutter release is compatible with my camera either... i fear it may have to go back to manufacturers for repair censored.gif style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":censored:" border="0" alt="censored.gif" />
