The plastic ones I have fitted are all mangled and I'm not sure if they are push fit or screw in type. I think, in the past, a garage fitted nonstandard rubbish. mk2 Posted August 15 Report Share Posted August 15 There are zinc coated captive U nuts which clip/slide onto the subframe and wheel arch liners. The screws screw into them. The two in the centre (10mm self tapping bolts) fit into bigger captive nuts. They cost pennies, so I bought a mixed lot of 100 for my Lupos. Ebay. julietdiane Posted August 18 Author Report Share Posted August 18 Thanks. My mix up. The lugs underneath the cover are not for securing the cover to the car, but for securing the noise baffle.
