Fixing the sunroof motor

Recommended Posts

Managed to uninstall the motor from the roof which was inside the ceiling light button inside the car.

However since my knowledge was zero, i removed the electromotor and wasn't able to put it back without tearing the two wires.

As it was submerged in water.

But then the plastic gear was flattened on one of the sides and so got the complete mechanism stuck.

Perhaps it was winter and then it broke.

Here are some pictures:

Yes, i could buy a new motor completely.

The plastic gears could also be replaced with new ones from internet.

Just wanted to share my experience.
