WvW Posted October 30 Report Share Posted October 30 Hi there, I've just joined the forum - I'm a long term VW fan from the East Midlands, currently driving a Mk5 Golf R32 as a daily, and an Audi A8 W12 on special occasions, when the oil price falls low enough to run it. A good few years ago while on holiday I saw a Lupo GTi (silver) and was quite taken by it. It really stood out as looking like an interesting car, but it wasn't at a time when I could afford to buy one. I recently sold on a MK1 golf Cabriolet project which I knew I was not going to finish (too much work, too little garage), but I still lust over the MK1 driving sensation. I think a Lupo GTi might fit the bill. I like to spend my time 'doing up' the cars I own, mainly mechanical work (I don't really like bodywork, but I can machine polish).
