Selling - Black GTI, c. 53.6k, 2002, 6 speed, lots of uber-rare parts included...

Just putting some feelers out to this community first. 

I've got a Black GTI.  Third owner.  I've owned it for just over 20(!!!) years.  c. 55,000 miles. 2002 (02) plate.  6 speed. 

I'm in the middle of a home restoration and I need my garage space, so the Lupo I'd never sell probably has to go. 

Mechanically, it's fantastic.  It has never wanted for maintenance.  Paintwork needs a good machine polish.  Shell is great, front subframe is getting a bit crusty, as is the rear beam.  But, if you ask nicely and are looking for a project, I'll throw in powder-coated versions of both (beams are unobtainium), and even a pair of new, unopened GTI ball joints (also impossible to find, as we all know).  Brand new tyres and newly-refurbished alloys.

I know a couple of peeps looking for a GTi... I'll send them this way.

Please add lots of pics. And perhaps the reg number so they can look up the MOT history.

I'd sell the spare parts separately if it were me. You'll get more £.  Yeah, I also have two sand blasted rear beams set for galvanising. Unobtanium. True. Not selling them!

Willing to throw in the whole as a job lot.  Many - I REPEAT MANY - uber-rare parts included... 

Powercoating on the spare front subframe looks like it will need doing again, sadly.  But the installed subframe isn't actually that bad, unlike...

Both front wishbones (they were pattern parts) will need replacing soon.  But, you can see the mythical balljoints in the pile of uber-rare parts...

Rear beam nowhere near as bad as I thought it was.

Not asking for stupid money.  I'm being realistic. 

If no one makes an approach for this as a winter project or a run around for next summer (MOT to mid-March).

WBAC will offer £5.5k (well, it will be less after their shenanigans...) so I am looking for more than that...

Bear in mind, mechanically, this is a fantastic car.  Started on the button this morning after sitting for two months...
