Update:

After purchasing a used pair from ebay that were listed as 280mm disc fitment but turned out to be 256mm, I ended up buying a set of new carriers from Epytec in Germany, everything now completed and working fine. The old discs were a nice shade of blue when I took them off.

Do you have any photos of your brake setup? I'm going to do the 280mm front brake setup soon and replace the rear drum brakes with 239mm disc brakes, and replace the master cylinder with one from a Lupo GTI because it has a 22mm piston.

Hi there!

What are your plans on how to upgrade to rear discs?  I've got a Polo 1.6 GTI conversion pack to go into my 1.4s, and I'd like a bit more stopping power!  I've got a set of Wilwood 4 pots for the front, that I need to adapt...
