lindylou
Hi guys sorry if this has already been talked about but need to fill up tomorrow and so have any of you got any comments on the new petrol. Have you tried it ? I haven’t been able to check if it’s ok in lupo engine. Any information would be appreciated xx
mk2
Yeah fine. Just make sure you empty the tank before extended storage and then fill with the older e5 stuff. The alcohol portion degrades to acetic acid (also known as spirit vinegar). Discussed at length a few months ago if you have a search
Skezza
I didn't realize you can buy e5?
Grumpy
Super unleaded is still E5.
K3lv
I have a 2004 arosa s 1.0 ......it really doesn't like the new fuel at all ...runs like crap
mk2
So just like most 1.0 Arosas/Lupos... Have yiu checked the ignition components. Common cause for problems. Or temp sensor (on every vdub in fact)... Ethanol actually burns cleaner and provides MORE power. Trouble is it doesn't store well.
