The radiator fan on my 2004 Arosa 1.0l MPI isn't switching on.  I've put 12v direct to the fan, and it runs.  The next thing to check is the fuse.  The fuse box next to the steering column only has a fuse for the ventilation fan, I can't find one for the radiator fan.  It seems some Lupo and Arosa models have this fuse in a box attached to the top of the battery, but mine doesn't.  Does anyone know where it is?  Thanks.

Would have helped if you sent a picture of the engine bay and close up around the battery but anyway...

The radiator fan operates of a 40A or 60A strip fuse. These are mounted in a box with two/three other fuses, and usually found on top of the battery. The holder could also have tow/three blade fuses on the outside.
