Nearside (left) window not rolling down from driver's side

Hello all,

My Lupo has a problem where I cannot roll down the left window using the driver's side switch. It does work rolling up though, and the passenger side switch works both down and up.

Is this just a faulty switch and if so, where can I buy a new one? Is it a hard job to replace?

Thanks,

Kyle

It's probably the switch, yeah. Them dying is pretty common. You can confirm it by swapping the switches over and seeing if the problem moves with them. It's pretty simple to do, you just need to remove the door card to get to the connectors, it's all fairly obvious once you're in there

If you have any similar issues with your new switch it'll be more likely the wiring in the boot between the door and car.

Not a fun job.

Hi.
looking for ideas regarding passengers window problem.
the window works perfect from drivers side switch up and down.
from the passenger side switch, it will only go down !!
IT IS NOT THE SWITCH !

has been like it for a while and would just like to clear it up

it does exactly the same when applying a wire across the wiring loom terminals.

Could it be the motor?

Does anyone  have a wiring diagram for the window switches/ motor termination plug

thanks in advance.

How can the motor be faulty if you just said it works from drivers side? Therefore its eiter switch or wiring fault.

It is easy to test that in multiple ways, by attaching other wires from another electricity source or with multimeter.
