It needs a new purge valve and my garage has been scouring the uk for one but none has come up. Wondering if anyone has suggestions please ? mk2 Posted November 23, 2020 Report Share Posted November 23, 2020 (edited) Probably not a purge valve. More likely an Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) valve. They are usually repairable if you're careful. They usually just get gummed up then jam. So with some patience, you can give them a good clean and try again.
