Gray Woulfe
Make: VW Model: Lupo 1.4 16v SPORT MOT: 28/08/21 Engine size: 100hp Fuel type: Petrol Description including modifications: Unmodified well maintained rare original example of a 1.4 Sport, fantastic car to drive, these are becoming increasingly rare to find especially in an original unmodified condition such as this. The car is a genuine Sport model not the standard 1.4. So has the 98BHP 16v twin cam petrol engine. These models come with ABS, different inlet cam, metal inlet manifold, ecu, bigger throttle body, bigger brakes (discs all round), different exhaust manifold and gear ratios.Like the GTi and exclusive only other to the Sport petrol models they have the very desirable centre exit exhaust, front fog lights & rear spoiler (optional extra from factory) plus the Black and Grey interwoven cloth/leather interior but interestingly these Sport models seem to have become more rare than the GTi and nearly match it in performance. Even better the car is great on fuel economy and cheap to insure being in group 12 compared the GTi in group 22! My wife has decided to go for something bigger, much to my utter dismay as this is a real gem. Just had full service and Mot, New tyres, front discs, pads all round and rear shocks replaced. Last year throttle body was replaced and always been lovingly maintained by all its owners. For an 18 year old car it still looks amazing. Rich
You should park it up somewhere safe for a decade if you don't need the money.
mk2
That looks really lovely. Park it somewhere dry, sell for double that in five, or 4x in 10 years. Nice history too. Too good for a first, new driver car.

weslangdon
I have only driven 2, a Lupo Sport that had the clutch pedal issue and an Arosa Sport with the same problem but cheap which I bought and fixed. The seats in the Arosa Sport are the best available in any Lupo or Arosa model. I have a set now in my Arosa TDI
