Can anyone explain how the bung pictured below is installed? I thought it went between the starter motor and the block but cant work out the orientation of it. The part number is 030103037B. It is for a 1.4 auto SE.

A picture of it fitted would be a great help if anyone has one. Thanks.

That bung would bug me if I didn't know it covered the crank sensor and allowed for the wire to go through.

A pd has something similar on the head for the cam sensor.

My mistake, that bung fits a manual block not an auto one.  Had a look at a BBZ manual block I have hanging around and it is obvious where the bung goes, the BBY auto block doesn't appear to have a bung as the gap that the crank sensor wire passes through is very small. Panic over.
