Lukedarv
hi there recently bought an arosa, I was wondering if there's a way to take off the plastic engine cover and keep it off as id like to start cleaning up the engine. Any help would be much appreciated
mk2
The oil fumes you can divert down to the road, but the incoming air needs to be filtered somehow. So unless you have some sort of aftermarket air filter box, there's no simple option. The warm air intake is only there to stop venturi icing on the throttle valve. You don't really need it in the UK.
