Lupifer Posted July 27, 2019 Report Share Posted July 27, 2019 (edited) So, going to replace drivers window regulator on GTI this weekend and after searching through the forum found danoid’s thread but couldn’t open link! Is there any specific advice on replacing one of these? All advice very gratefully received Also, can’t open links on another post regarding replacement door membrane material alternatives (maybe my phone settings!!) Does anyone have any ideas please? Tourist Posted July 28, 2019 Report Share Posted July 28, 2019 Take the door speaker out as it will make it unplugging the loom from the window motor a lot easier, and use a genuine VW regulator if you can as it will fit a lot better Martin.
