joshbob
Hi guys , I bought my car a few years back and due to health issues I’ve not been able to get on the road or to actually drive the car much at all , it’s got 68k miles and from what I know the only issue with it is now the obvious flat battery ( it hasn’t been started up at all in about 9 months ) i know these things are hard to come by and someone would much rather have it and look after it then me .... I will try to post up some photos tomorrow or Thursday for you guys, There is a few chips on the bonnet and the front black grill is cracked, also a slight crack in the spoiler but it’s all superstitial and can be easily fixed up i have no bloody idea what it’s worth in the state it’s in but I’m SURE there is someone out there who will take it off me for a decent price. The car is 100% stock .... not a single mod to it ( I think it may be the only stock one left in the country) Edited July 17, 2019 by joshbob

Rich
Nice, MK1 arosa sport. You clearly know what you want for it, keeping in mind it has sat for a long time. Location also.
joshbob
I honestly have no idea what it’s worth in it’s condition ! I’m located in Dorset , 20 mins from Yeovil
Rich
I like it, but you're absolutely other end of country. I'm out. But for the record, £300 if it fires up with a battery and goes into all gears without throwing oil out the back.
joshbob
I’d probably sell it for around that in the condition it’s in right now, I’ve actually had a few offers a little higher than that as of today, posting it around a few places ! I will see what’s the best thing to do thanks tho man
mk2
Wow, I have to be honest and say that that's the first 16V version I've seen. There can't be many about. Personally, I'd fix the broken bits which like you say are all superficial and take it from there. Don't worry about the bonnet stone chips. Get the interior properly valeted for around £40 (or do it yourself), give it a good wax and polish and you could get as much as £1200. Get it running...

I’m pretty sure there is less then 10 even still about ! I got lucky and bought it from a garage that had no idea what is was so sold it dead cheap , I’m going to call a garage tomorrow and get it in and just blitz it over and try get it running
ArosaScott
I would take the time and get the easier cheaper bits fixed, a good wash and polish and try to get maximum for it. You know what its set you back, what you can put into it and what you want for it. If you can get an MOT on it, your money will instantly go up also.
mk2
When you sell it, don't just sell it as a cheap small runabout for a new driver. As there are fewer than 10 left on the UK's roads, you need to make that a selling point. It's like Mk2 golfs... even the nastiest poverty spec "Golf C" now goes for very good money as there are so few original one's left!
