Paul78
I have just bought a Fox and the only issue with it is the stereo isn't working. It will not turn on at all. It's the RCD200. Checked another forum for a fuse box diagram and have checked the relevant fuses, SC2 and SC5, but they are fine. Anyone experienced this before? or have any ideas what could be wrong? Or even what i could be doing wrong!
Rich
Let's chance something. Remove the stereo, check for an ISO adaptor where someone has had a different stereo in. If so, remove it and plug original loom in. Alternatively try a different stereo to see what's at fault. You could always use a sidelight wire to see where you have live/earth? mk2
Show us a pic with it 'on'. Or is it completely dead, like not connected?
Paul78
It's completely dead. As if not connected. Waiting on keys to remove it then hopefully it might be a simple fix.
Paul78
Got removal keys this morning. Took the stereo out and noticed the 10A fuse in the back of the unit was blown. Changed the fuse, plugged it back in and voila...it works!
