I have a problem with air quality in the car. I have to shut off the vents as there seems to be a leak of exhaust/engine air in the car. Does the lupo have a pollen filter as I don't seem to be able to find it on my vehicle. Micks Garage says its on the passenger side well of the car. Does any one know?

I’d say your car isn’t breathing right. Even if a pollen filter isn’t fitted you shouldn’t get fumes in your cabin. But to help the situation if it hasn’t got one in then just, well, put one in. 90 second job.

I had a similar problem with a mk4 golf... even with a pollen filter. Exhaust gas was leaking near the manifold into the engine bay. The little foam blocks either end of the scuttle panel seal were missing and the gas was getting sucked into the fresh air inlet. New blocks. Sorted. Plus sealing the exhaust helped.
