SimonJ65
Can anyone tell me what the difference is between the engine sump on the Lupo 16v Sport and the 75hp Lupo 16v? The part number for the AUB engine Sport sump is 032 103 601 RA the 16v sump is 032 103 601 J, is the Sport one aluminium? Rich
They're both alloy? If it is only end number which is different I would go for it. Later revision maybe?
mk2
Not always true with VAG stuff... mostly, but not always. Careful...
SimonJ65
Currently have a steel sump fitted to the SE, part number is 030 103 601M which I think is fitted to the 8v. Is it worth changing to an alloy sump or just stick with the steel one?
LR5V
Unlike alloy - Steel is a lot harder to crack in a pot hole and the plug thread isn’t alloy - apart from cosmetics, the only advantage I can think of is alloy dissipates heat a bit better than steel
