imaparana
Hi all, ive noticed this evening in my lupo gti rally car, with abs fuse pulled, the rear brakes are wanting to lock under heavy braking. Does anyone know if the abs unit does the brake proportioning ? or if there is a separate system that does it? Cheers! yeha
The ABS system does it all. The proportioning valves are on the non-abs cars. You need fit a bias bar or pressure limiting valve or both. Some good info on the pros/cons of each on British Rally. I have a mk1 Golf with the same brakes and it will slide very nicely with a good stomp on the pedal.. You get used to it.
