LR5V Posted March 23, 2019 Report Share Posted March 23, 2019 The module is pretty much the same as Mk4, getting to it is different, but its pretty easy to work out. I find this you tube guy pretty good, music is not my taste, but he explains things well Just make sure you close up any holes you make in the foam inner liner - this stops water getting in side the car. duct tape is good for this. Skajme Posted January 15, 2021 Report Share Posted January 15, 2021 Ordered one of these for my drivers door, as its been on the way out for a while 'No lights left on tone' 'car relocking after 30 seconds with the door open' which i could live with. But now the drivers door doesn't unlock with the fob which I can't be doing with so I'm finally replacing it. I've looked at a few golf tutorials, and i know about only loosening the lock retaining screw. So it should be pretty straightforward, right?
