Grah71
Three driveshaft bolts have snapped on my sons lupo ....any useful hints on how to remove the bits that are left in the gearbox output end ?
Rich
They're not under tension anymore so whack with hammer and use some vice grips.
mk2
remove drive shaft so you can get to the flange and see if you can move them... if there's anything sticking out, easy. if snapped inside the flange, you 'might' be able to get them from behind- just. else it'll need to be a snapped stud/bolt removing tool attachment for your drill. they are a hard metal though.... Rich
Do the cups on an 085 box come off easy?
mk2
they do, but not recommended unless the box is in bits- the friction bush inside the diff could drop out.
