callumwils0n
right, so i have a lupo 1.4 sport and recently it has had issues with the idle. basicly it wont hold its revs and it cuts out making it pretty undrivable. I have replaced the battery and the throttle body as i thought that would be the solution. but it still wont run. the car is also running very ritch. The o2 sensor on my exhaust i faulty so im wondering if that could be a cause. any help would be appriciated.
mk2
Welcome to club lupo! could be a lot of things. Good start would be to get a cheap diagnostics thing (ebay?). might be TPS? TEmp sensor. Air filter. You need a working O2 sesnsor. But diagnostics will confirm everything. pic?

callumwils0n
They are my error codes
mk2
No idea right now. Might be a loom fault, or the main feed supplying all the sensors is down. Could be a fuse. Manifold air leak?
LR5V
has the battery been run low - these could be old codes from then. if possible clear the codes and run the engine again to confirm they are current As Mk2 says - check for air leaks - vacuum hoses perish, the hose to the brake booster is a common fail
callumwils0n
I replaced the battery a couple days ago and they are the current codes

mk2
1 hour ago, Rich said: Green temp sensor. Was thinking that too, but there's something else going on to give those codes. Especially with the MAP and throttle motor.
Rich
Okay then. The green temp is at fault but the throttle has been changed and will need vagcom or driving around a bit to adapt. Map sensor is probably gunked up too.
