yeha
Just swapped mine. The old one is rusty but solid. Might be a good start for sand blasting and powdercoating. otherwise it's going in the scrap pile. Harrogate area.

Also looking for some rear (non gti) springs anyone?
yeha
I have the rusty set to match the axle... Do you need the brakes? I was thinking of keeping the rear hub and stub axle for a future project but I'm not that bothered really.

mk2
Always willing accept freebies... just had one set of rear springs blasted and coated. The other SDI rear pair are beyond hope. A spare rear beam means I could get it done up and coated, then swap over to the other SDI and then repeat with minimal downtime. Last weekend I derusted, rebuilt and resprayed the rear arches on one of the SDIs. God I can't believe how well they rust. Now properly shutsched and waxoyled. That will last.
