Bee Posted August 28, 2018 Report Share Posted August 28, 2018 Hey, long time lurker, first time poster. Hoping someone might have some advice as can't find anything. I drove my 2004 VW Lupo 1.0 E this morning and it just doesn't feel right. The brake and accelerator pedals feel really heavy and stiff (clutch feels fine) and the gear changing is really notchy. Been driving this car since April and it's never been perfect but it feels really different. Got my partner to drive it and he reckons it feels fine, but he usually drives a BMW 325 with much heavier pedals so I feel like he just thinks it feels fine compared to his. Sausage Posted August 28, 2018 Report Share Posted August 28, 2018 As it's all your pedals make sure there is no physical obstruction interfering with the pedals. Also pedal boxes are weak on these and can crack that usually affects just the clutch pedal height so gear changes get tricky, but i guess it could affect all pedals depending on how it breaks.
