OllieDewar
Has anyone upgraded to a twin tone horn? If so, how difficult was it? How is the best way to do it?

OllieDewar
It's either that or an air horn..

I'd quite like to see a fog horn or ship horn or something just for utter banter. But other than that, I just think Twin Horns etc are barry balls. Still, in answer to your question, it'll be easy as sin. Aren't most of them just plug and play?
OllieDewar
As far as I'm aware all I need to do is tap into the power from the first horn the power the second. Which will be easy enough with a couple of piggy back spade connectors.
cj1
Yeah pretty much. Depends on what type I guess. I have twin air horns on the rally car and I used the existing horn connections to switch a relay, with power then going to the compressor. OllieDewar
Installed the twin tones today, noticeably louder than the stock single tone and sounds a lot better. Mounted them behind the grill, Subaru style
