Andrei_S
Hello guys, Recently purchased a Lupo GTi and this is my first GTi I have owned. For some reason when the car is unlocked, the alarm doesn't disarm. I have to jump in and turn the car on, which will disarm it. Also the rest of the car doesn't unlock either. Found today that the car cannot be opened from the inside on the driver side, the cable pulls enough and the door catch clicks but doesn't open. Can open it from the outside with no issues. Does anyone have any ideas? I'm guessing it's the locking mechanism that throws the whole car off but just wanted to double check in case it's something else I'm missing. Rich
two problems, one area. opening from inside is mechanical so it isn't related to the alarm which is electronic.

Think changing the whole mechanism would be easiest thing to do
